About the company:
Due to open in Spring 24 we are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join our fantastic new service providing luxury care for adults with nursing, dementia and residential needs. Your primary focus will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, while maintaining a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
6. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are always maintained.
7. Manage and lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
8. Utilize your expertise in managing a dementia home to provide specialized care and support to residents with dementia related conditions.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, particularly those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
10. Develop and implement effective care plans, tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident.
11. Maintain accurate and up to date records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection standards are upheld.
12. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals, families, and local authorities, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
13. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing home, implementing improvements where necessary to enhance the quality of care provided.
14. Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices, actively participating in relevant training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
15. Valid NMC Pin desirable but non-nursing candidates will be considered
16. Proven experience managing a dementia home, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements associated with dementia care.
17. Possession of a Level 5 qualification in management (or equivalent), showcasing your ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
18. Solid track record of achieving and maintaining high CQC performance ratings.
19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the wider team.
20. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to effectively manage multiple priorities and resolve issues as they arise.
