Location: Forrest Street Depot, 18 Forrest Street, Blantyre, G72 0JP
Hours: 35 hours per week
Work pattern: Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:45am - 4:15pm
Salary: £40,804 - £46,991 annual salary
Grounds Services are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage Grounds Maintenance and Street Cleansing operations within a set geographical area. The post will include managing all associated front line operations and by doing so meeting the expectations of all stakeholders including clients, elected members and the public. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the well-being of staff directly under their control as well as providing support to colleagues and senior management.

* Be able to communicate effectively at all Council levels as well as representing the Council at a range of internal and external events.
* Ensure that the service is meeting its legislative and statutory requirements.
* Recognise individual and team achievements by providing thanks and encouragement.
