Creative Arts Support Assistant – Cwmbran Start date: September 2025 (Long-Term Role) The School and Role Vision for Education is looking to appoint a passionate and imaginative Creative Arts Support Assistant to work across a cluster of supportive ALN schools in Cwmbran. Starting in September 2025, this long-term role offers a unique opportunity to use your creativity to support young people with a range of additional learning needs (ALN), including autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You’ll be working in both primary and specialist settings, using creative strategies—such as art, music, movement, and drama—to inspire engagement, build emotional resilience, and encourage self-expression. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of the arts to enhance learning and improve wellbeing in an inclusive environment. To succeed as a Creative Arts Support Assistant, you will need to be adaptable, calm, and confident in a range of classroom environments. Your creativity, patience, and ability to build meaningful relationships will help you make a genuine difference to the lives of the children you support.
