The Role
We are looking for a Registered Paediatric Nurse to join a passionate and supportive team providing high‑quality care to children with special needs. This part‑time role offers flexibility and the chance to use your clinical expertise in a nurturing and impactful setting.
You will play a vital part in ensuring the health and wellbeing of the young people supported, while also helping to develop the skills and confidence of care staff through clinical guidance and reflective practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, develop, and review individualised, person‑centred care plans
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for each child
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
* Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, care, and confidentiality
* Complete and assess staff competencies in clinical healthcare tasks
* Conduct reflective clinical check‑ins to maintain skill levels across the team
About You
* Registered Nurse (RSCN/RGN) with a focus on paediatrics
* Experience in paediatric or community nursing
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and empathetic approach towards children and families
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
