The Role
You will be responsible for fabricating components using various techniques, working from drawings and instructions, and collaborating with colleagues and management.
Responsibilities
* Undertake all types of mild steel fabrications
* Read and interpret fabrication drawings
* Perform MIG and occasional TIG welding
* Maintain fabrication records following production procedures
* Inspect and test welds with precision instruments
* Operate machinery, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts (training provided)
Requirements
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* High standard of fabrication and welding skills
* Self-motivated with excellent time management and attendance
* Follow welding procedures and achieve qualifications
* Experience in MMA welding and site work is desirable
* CSCS card, MWEP/PASMA qualifications, forklift/lifting certifications are advantageous
