Job Title: Temporary Full-Time Finance Assistants (Band 3) x 2

Description
The post-holder will work as a member of the Finance team, assisting in delivering efficient and high-quality financial services to the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Conduct financial assessments for Residential & Nursing Homes, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
* Update client records regarding admissions, discharges, and deaths promptly.
* Verify income and assets as required.
* Maintain records of clients with statutory disregards and notify clients or their representatives of assessed charges.
* Address and resolve assessment queries promptly.
* Assist in recovering income owed to the Trust from clients or their representatives.
* Facilitate distribution of personal allowances to residents in statutory homes.
* Maintain accurate records of pensions and benefits, including personal allowances.
* Liaise with residents, their representatives, Care Managers, solicitors, and statutory agencies as needed.
* Handle pension/benefit queries efficiently.
* Manage receipt, recording, and safekeeping of all monies due to the Trust.
* Prepare bank lodgements and conduct banking activities.
* Ensure accurate recording and safekeeping of patients' property and manage patient property accounts.
* Process patient travel claims and collect miscellaneous cash.
* Provide information to the Compensation Recovery Unit (CRU) and assist in monitoring RTA income.
* Perform any other duties related to the position.
Criteria
* 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts AND 1 year of admin and clerical experience
* OR 3 years of admin & clerical experience
