IKEA Leeds is seeking a Unit Business Risk & Compliance Leader to ensure proactive safety and security risk management across the Market. The role involves leading initiatives to foster a healthy working environment, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance at the local level.

3. 39 hours/week, with shifts including evenings and alternate weekends

Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in occupational health & safety, fire safety, or security
* Strong decision-making skills considering business, people, and ethical perspectives
* High integrity and ethical standards
* Knowledge of relevant laws, risk management, health, safety, and security standards
* Experience in risk assessment and mitigation in business environments
* Ability to implement compliant work structures
* Knowledge of crisis management and risk assessment processes
* Desirable: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (IKEA supports obtaining this)
Responsibilities
1. Promote risk management and develop risk-aware decision-making
2. Ensure compliance with INGKA Rules and local legislation, guiding stakeholders
3. Identify training needs and facilitate solutions
4. Conduct root cause analysis to minimize business loss
5. Provide expertise in occupational health & safety, fire safety, and compliance
6. Foster a risk & compliance culture among stakeholders
7. Coordinate with local authorities on risk & compliance issues
8. Implement and monitor the BR&C agenda and KPIs
9. Ensure proper documentation and risk assessments are maintained
