Job responsibilities To assist with the implementation and maintenance of efficient office management systems and procedures to enable our team to optimise their standards of service. This will require effective time management, arranging and preparation and maintenance of correspondence and reports, manipulation of documentation management systems and general workflow tasks. To support team members with research funding applications. This will require undertaking appropriate staff training and development as required, confidently providing cross-cover on a reciprocal basis in the absence of colleagues. Searching for funding and development opportunities and providing support to new and existing researchers is a core element of being effective in this role. To use initiative and work to standard operating procedures and working instructions to meet essential work requirements and to achieve accurate data capture from researchers in relation to research funding applications, research outputs and other metrics according to reporting requirements. This will require being able to learn and maintain the best practices in the capture of technical, scientific and research data and metrics, being flexible to changing needs.
