Assistant Restaurant Manager
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our strong Front of House team in our award-winning restaurant, specialising in carefully curated tasting menus with wine pairings. Job Details:
* Supporting the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations
* Leading, motivating and training Front of House team members
* Ensuring service standards are upheld across all aspects of the guest journey
* Overseeing set-up and clear down of the restaurant for service
* Managing the delivery of multi-course tasting menus and wine pairings
* Handling guest enquiries and ensuring an exceptional dining experience
* Maintaining high standards of preparation (polishing of glassware, cutlery, tableware)
* Assisting with stock control, ordering and rota planning
Must-Haves:
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in a supervisory or managerial position within a restaurant
* Strong background in hospitality and customer service
* Reliable and flexible with working hours
* Available to work evenings and weekends (Tue–Sat)
* A willingness to learn about food and wine pairing (full training provided)
* Hard-working, ambitious and eager to progress in hospitality
Job Type & Hours:
* Full-time, 40+ hours per week
* Tuesday – Saturday (restaurant closed Sundays & Mondays)
