We are working with a long-established, globally recognised manufacturer based in Eye, Suffolk, who are looking to expand their procurement team with the addition of a Buyer.

The Role:
As Buyer, you'll play a key role in managing the procurement of indirect goods, supporting operational teams, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. You'll be involved in sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely delivery of materials, all while contributing to the company's long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities
Support stock control and ERP system processes
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials
Collaborate with internal teams to meet production and sales targets
Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a procurement role (indirect goods preferred)
Strong negotiation and commercial skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Ideally CIPS Level 4 qualified or equivalent experience Benefits:

Company Group Personal Pension Scheme: The scheme is a contributory scheme, with the employee contributing 4% of earnings and the Company contributing 4% of earnings. Company contributions increase to 6% after 5 years' service and 7% after 10 years' service.
Life Assurance is provided at 3 times basic salary.
