Electrical Technician – Energy from Waste Up to £50,000 (DOE) plus benefits Kidderminster MC Technical Recruitment are currently partnering with a leading Energy from Waste facility in the Kidderminster area who are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of electrical systems across a high-performing power plant. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone from a power generation, process, or industrial background looking to be part of a long-term, forward-thinking operation. As the Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical equipment Diagnosing faults and repairing electrical systems, including HV/LV apparatus Supporting with shutdown preparation, contractor supervision and calibration work Maintaining electrical records through the site CMMS system Working on days basis Mon-Fri Participating in the on-call rota Other duties as required Requirements: Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) Experience working with electrical systems on power plants, process sites, or similar heavy industrial environments Knowledge of HV/LV systems, CMMS, and safe systems of work Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team Strong fault-finding, contractor supervision, and troubleshooting ability What’s on offer: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience Overtime Company pension scheme Holidays Long-term role with development and training opportunities Apply: To apply, please apply via the link, send your CV to MC Technical via or call (phone number removed) for a confidential chat
