Working Hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 4pm finish on Fridays

About the role:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, GMP, and statutory standards within stores. Liaising with and supporting the embedded MRO supplier to ensure contracted benefits are delivered and best value is obtained. Managing Non-MRO parts orders, driving improvements in the CMMS system to support reliability projects, and conducting compliance audits (LOLER, COSHH, WEEE, etc.).
* Conduct compliance audits with H&S team
* Conduct monthly safety audits with MRO supplier
* Conduct GMP audits of the engineering stores
* Validate engineering material stock change requests
* Manage Non-MRO parts orders
* Conduct monthly operational and KPI reviews
* Identify spares requirements for new assets
* Assist with invoice queries
* Update project documentation
* Validate MRO savings and submit for approval
* Drive CMMS system improvements
About You:
* Experience as a storeman, in inventory or warehouse roles within manufacturing or engineering
* Familiarity with engineering parts, tools, and equipment
* Proficient in inventory management systems or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
* Experience in stock control, ordering, receiving, and issuing parts and tools
* Understanding of health & safety standards
* Basic mechanical or technical knowledge (advantageous)
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings or part numbers (preferred)
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and team coordination abilities
