About the Role:
Are you a skilled Service Desk Engineer looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring end-user devices in line with client specifications before dispatching them to site. You'll work within a fast-paced service desk environment, ensuring all installations meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up, configure, and log new client equipment in our CRM system
2. Deliver, install, and configure end-user equipment at client sites as needed
3. Manage and maintain our off-site workshop storage facility, ensuring smooth stock processing
4. Keep client site documentation up to date and accurate
5. Ensure compliance with company Information Security Management System (ISMS)
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Proven experience as a Service Desk Engineer
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop Environments
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Backup/DRaaS, and related technologies
Strong customer service and communication skills
Valid UK driving license
Desirable:
Familiarity with Networking (TCP/IP, Firewall, Routing/Switching)
Experience with Azure AD, IaaS, Intune, and Conditional Access
Understanding of Mimecast email security
