Tradewind Recruitment is looking for confident, energetic individuals to support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs in Rochdale's pupil referral service. These full-time roles start immediately on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Role:
* Support students aged 11-18 who need structure, motivation, and strong role models
* Use your experience from sports or coaching to engage students and build trust
* Help manage behaviour and keep students focused in class
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to keep them on track with learning
* Be part of a tight-knit team that's all about making a difference
What You'll Need:
* Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth groups, clubs, boxing gyms, etc.)
* Patience, confidence, and a calm approach to behaviour
* A positive mindset and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed
* A team-first attitude - we've got each other's backs
Extra Points If You Have:
* A background in boxing, football, martial arts, or sports coaching
* Experience mentoring teens or working in community settings
* TA qualifications (but not essential - we'll train you)
