A Day in the Life
The Acute Care and Monitoring Team partners with healthcare teams to advance patient safety, prevent, and treat life-threatening conditions, focusing on critical care areas such as OR and ICU, and expanding across the full continuum of care to avoid perioperative complications and respiratory issues. The ACM Account Manager is responsible for selling and implementing Medtronic's Acute Care & Monitoring products and solutions to customers and prospects in Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, and East Anglia, with a focus on clinical and outcome-based benefits. A full clean driver’s license is required.
Responsibilities may include:
* Executing sales activities across healthcare settings for Pulse Oximetry, Capnography, and Brain Monitoring portfolios throughout the territory.
* Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborating with Therapy Specialists to meet sales targets aligned with the ACM strategy and business plan for NHS and private hospitals.
* Developing a thorough understanding of the ACM portfolio and related disease states, delivering sales and customer education on product use.
* Maintaining knowledge of Medtronic and competitor solutions in the UK, sharing updates proactively with the sales, marketing, and management teams.
* Building and maintaining a network of key customers and stakeholders to foster revenue growth and market share.
* Completing reports, customer records, and corporate information in the Medtronic reporting system.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.
* Proactive, clear, and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to identify and negotiate with stakeholders effectively.
* Self-motivated with a successful track record of independent work and meeting deadlines.
* Ability to recognize business opportunities.
* Strong presentation skills for educating clinical audiences.
Experience in the medical technology or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
