Solicitor – Property Litigation (Social Housing) – Taunton – 0‑3 Years PQE
Location: Taunton (with hybrid working)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £48,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)
A respected regional law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor (0‑3 years PQE) to join its specialist team in Taunton, with a particular focus on social housing work. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career lawyer to develop their expertise within a supportive, highly regarded department, working on meaningful matters that make a real social impact.
The Role
You will work on a broad range of property litigation matters relating to social housing, acting for:
* Registered providers
* Local authorities
* Housing sector organisations
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Supporting senior lawyers on complex or high value matters
* Advising clients on housing management issues and disputes
* Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation
* Representing clients at court hearings and mediations where appropriate
* Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
Candidate Requirements
* Is a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 0‑3 years' PQE
* Has experience of, or a strong interest in, property litigation and/or social housing law
* Demonstrates strong drafting, organisational and communication skills
* Is proactive, collaborative and committed to excellent client service
