The brief:
We’re seeking a freelance Account Director to lead TikTok and paid social campaigns. You’ll be the strategic lead for key clients, focusing on paid social, influencer strategy, TikTok Shop, and performance content. This role is ideal for a senior freelancer experienced in leading campaigns from start to finish.
What you’ll be doing:
* Manage strategic delivery of TikTok campaigns, including media planning, buying, and optimization.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as their primary TikTok partner.
* Lead TikTok Shop strategies, including shoppable content, influencer collaborations, and live activations.
* Oversee campaign execution across paid, organic, affiliate, and live content.
* Advise clients on TikTok Shop best practices: storefront optimization, boosting shoppable content, using platform tools.
* Act as senior client contact and escalation point, ensuring quality and strategic clarity.
* Lead creative briefings with in-house and freelance TikTok creators and influencers.
* Develop budgets and proposals for new and existing clients.
What we’re looking for:
* Senior experience in an agency, with a proven record managing complex accounts.
* Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads Manager.
* Deep knowledge of TikTok Shop, including affiliate programs, live streaming, and storefront optimization.
* Strong client management skills, confident in calls, reporting, and presentations.
* Sharp eye for performance-driven creative content.
* Experience managing paid campaigns across various verticals and budgets.
* Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments and deliver high-quality work.
