Description
We are seeking a caring and committed individual to work 1:1 with a polite and well-mannered Year 6 pupil who requires additional support in English and Maths. This role also involves providing emotional support during break and lunchtime, as they can occasionally feel overwhelmed. There is no challenging behaviour, and the pupil responds well to gentle encouragement and consistent guidance.
Pay: £13.80 per hour, plus holiday pay.
Location: Liverpool, L24
Start: Asap until July 2026
Hours: 16 hours- Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 1.30pm
Responsibilities:
Providing 1-1 SEN Support
Deliver tailored support in English and Maths to reinforce classroom learning
Provide emotional reassurance during unstructured times such as break and lunch
Foster a calm, positive, and trusting relationship to help the pupil thrive
Liaise with teaching staff to align support strategies with curriculum goal
Profile:

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Education, Childcare, or related subjects are desirable
