We're looking for a Multiskilled Shift Engineer who will work with our Mitie client within a hospital environment, delivering a multi‑skilled maintenance service across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Role Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across the hospital.
* Complete repairs, modifications, and installations as required.
* Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures and site standards.
Required Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant equipment, and controls.
* Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and procedures.
* Self‑motivated, well‑organised, and keen to develop skills.
* Professional, respectful, and confident in raising safety concerns.
