The Investor Services business is at a critical inflection point driven by regulatory commitments, T+1 settlement, and increasing client demand for real‑time data and analytics. Current fragmented data architecture across custody, fund accounting (IBOR/ABOR), and transfer agencies creates operational inefficiencies, regulatory risk, and limits growth. What You’ll Do
* Enterprise Data Strategy
o Canonical data models (accounts, securities, positions)
o Golden sources and ownership model
* Platform Modernization
o Real‑time / near real‑time ODS
o Event‑driven architecture (Kafka, CDC)
o Lakehouse / federated query platforms
* Regulatory & Data Governance
o Data lineage, quality, controls
o Alignment with BCBS 239, DORA, GDPR
* Business Enablement
o Data‑as‑a‑product strategy
o Client analytics and reporting
o API‑driven data access
o Strategic Business Partnering: collaborate effectively with senior management across Product Management, Operations, and Technology to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into effective talent acquisition strategies.
o Program and Project Leadership: independently manage and drive multiple recruitment projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
o Global Team Management: lead, mentor, and manage recruitment teams located across different geographical locations, ensuring cohesive efforts and consistent performance in talent acquisition and delivery.
o People Management & Development: adhere to best practices in people management, including performance evaluation, career development, and fostering a supportive and engaging work environment for direct and indirect reports.
o Business Unit Contribution: take broader responsibility for the talent strategy and recruitment success of wider teams within a specific business unit at a site level, contributing significantly to its growth and operational excellence.
o Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high‑caliber candidates for senior‑level and specialized roles.
o Act as a subject‑matter expert in talent acquisition trends, market intelligence, and best practices.
What We’ll Need From You
* Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree.
* Minimum of 8‑10 years of progressive experience in Financial Data, with a significant portion in a senior capacity and enterprise‑wide authority across custody, funds, and TA.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and influence senior‑level stakeholders in Product Management, Operations, and Technology domains.
* Extensive experience in managing multiple complex projects and programs concurrently, with a focus on results.
* Proven experience in leading and managing recruitment teams, including those in different geographical locations.
* Strong understanding and application of people management principles, including performance management and development.
* Ability to take ownership and contribute to the broader success of a business unit at a site level.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
