About the Role:
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will provide support to Armstrong Bell's Customers via, phone email and remote support tools. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving customer IT related queries. Occasionally you will be required to visit customers sites for troubleshooting, project-related work, and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
* Provide remote support to investigate and resolve customer technical issues.
* Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations and network upgrades.
* Maintain and troubleshoot core infrastructure components such as servers, firewalls, and networking equipment.
* Support and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including security policies, data management, and user administration.
* Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot backup solutions.
* Conduct site visits for onboarding, troubleshooting, and project-related work.
* Document processes and solutions clearly and accurately.
* Proactively monitor systems and perform regular health checks to ensure the stability of client environments.
* Stay up-to-date with new technologies and provide recommendations to improve IT systems and workflows.
Candidate Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years' experience in an IT support role.
· Confident communicator via both via email and phone, with a professional and courteous manner.
· Curious and determined, with strong problem solving skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
· Able to manage a diverse workload of support and delivery cases effectively.
· Maintains consistent communication with customers until issues are fully resolved.
· Skilled in documenting work and contributing to the company knowledge base.
· Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
· Full, clean driving licence.
