Position Overview
Full time Band 5 Children’s Occupational Therapist within the Children’s Therapy Team supporting the core service, working with children in Lincolnshire across mainstream and special schools, nurseries, clinics and homes.
Responsibilities
* Manage a clinical caseload, including providing occupational therapy management/care plans
* Provide risk assessments such as moving and handling plans
* Advise and recommend appropriate equipment, aids and assistive technology
* Coordinate advice and recommendations for Education and other agencies
* Work closely with colleagues from other services and agencies (Children’s Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, acute sector, Social Services and Education)
Qualifications
* Some experience or keen interest working with children with complex physical needs
* Excellent communication skills
