Are you an ambitious, passionate ecologist looking to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting an Ecologist on behalf of our client, a specialist environmental consultancy renowned for delivering high-quality ecological and environmental solutions across the UK.

The Role:
This role offers the chance to work on diverse and rewarding projects, helping to protect and enhance natural habitats. You will support the team with ecological surveys, habitat assessments, data analysis, and reporting, while developing your expertise and learning from industry leaders.
Given the range of work our client is responsible for, they are open to applications from all experience levels - from Junior Ecologists through to Principal Ecologists.
Location:
Our client's Head Office is in Manchester and they have regional hubs across the North of England and the Midlands, and for the right candidate the base location is flexible, including options for remote contracts as long as you are flexible to travel to sites as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct ecological surveys, including protected species surveys.
* Assist in habitat and biodiversity assessments.
* Analyse data and contribute to high-quality ecological reports.
* Provide ecological input into planning applications and environmental assessments.
* Support senior ecologists with project management and client engagement.
* Stay up to date with relevant environmental policies and legislation.

Requirements
* A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Experience applying your survey skills for a similar organisation
* A keen interest in UK wildlife and conservation.
* Experience with ecological surveying methods
* Analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* A full UK driving licence
