Job Description
We are looking for an office based Payroll Manager to lead UK payroll operations with accuracy and compliance at the forefront. This is a key role ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while maintaining adherence to HMRC regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end UK payroll processing for all employees.
* Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, pensions, and statutory reporting.
* Oversee payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Partner with HR and Finance teams for seamless data integration.
* Keep up to date with UK payroll legislation and implement changes.
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing UK payroll in a complex environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in payroll systems (SAP, Workday, SDWorx or similar).
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
* CIPP qualification or equivalent.
* Minimum 7 years of payroll experience.
* Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
