The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
* Deliver small group interventions to raise attainment
* Support children with SEND, SEMH or EAL needs
* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering teacher training, or individuals with childcare or care backgrounds.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting
* A calm, patient and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
