Reception Teacher
📍 Manchester • £130 - £170 per day • March - May 2026 • 4 days per week
Premier Education are working with a supportive primary school in Manchester, part of a well‑established multi‑academy trust, to recruit a Reception Teacher (EYFS) for a long‑term role from March to May 2026.
This is a 4‑day‑per‑week position, ideal for teachers looking for strong work‑life balance while gaining valuable experience in Early Years. The school provides excellent support and mentoring, making it a great opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers alike.
The school is easily accessible from Manchester, Stockport and Tameside, with good transport links.
The Role
* Teaching a Reception class (EYFS)
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS framework
* Supporting pupils' early development, learning and wellbeing
* Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with the wider school team
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – UK
* Experience teaching in Early Years / Reception
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Ability to support pupils with additional needs
* Good behaviour management and classroom organisation
* A calm, patient and nurturing approach
* Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
