As a Senior Digital Portfolio Manager, you'll be responsible for shaping, guiding, and overseeing the delivery of digital initiatives in DWP. You'll play a key role in transforming how we work and how customers interact with our services. This role requires deep knowledge of organisational strategy, business planning, and cross-functional collaboration. By integrating insights across delivery, finance, architecture, and service, you'll enable informed decision-making and ensure better outcomes.
You will maintain momentum across complex programmes, embed governance and assurance throughout projects, and develop roadmaps and high-value initiatives. Your leadership will guide teams through planning and assurance, overseeing performance to drive better services, reduce risks, and help DWP achieve its goals with confidence—ensuring initiatives are aligned, well-governed, and effectively prioritized.

3. Management of Successful Programmes (MSP)
4. Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
5. Providing independent portfolio assurance to senior leaders within large-scale digital portfolios in complex organizations.
6. Shaping and influencing digital strategic planning and priorities aligned with organizational objectives.
7. Improving portfolio processes, including prioritization, tracking, and reporting, and embedding best practices across teams.
8. Anticipating delivery risks and taking decisive actions to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
9. Utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to interpret portfolio data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
10. Building and managing strategic relationships across organizational boundaries using strong leadership and communication skills.
