The Role
The Learning Support coordinator will play a key role in strengthening inclusive learning practices across Realise Training Group. They take an active role in the provision of additional learning support, ensuring that all learners can access high-quality, individualised provision. With a strong knowledge base and passion for learning support, the postholder will champion inclusion, provide support to learners and trainers, lead on reasonable adjustments, and ensure robust recording of additionality within learning programmes.
Whilst we can't promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities
are likely to be:
Learner Support & Inclusion
- Attend all individualisation conversations with learners identified for additional
support and track all newly enrolled learners
- Provide one to one coaching for learners
- Make reasonable adjustment applications to awarding bodies
- Document accurate evidence of additionality using specified processes and
systems
- Attend progress reviews to ensure joined up working and robust embedding of
support
- Promote a culture of accessibility and equity across learning delivery
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure robust logging and monitoring of additionality and learner support
interventions.
- Support compliance with SEND frameworks, funding requirements, and
inspection standards.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes, audits, and reviews of learning support
provision.
Training & Development
- Provide coaching, mentoring and CPD sessions to staff to improve confidence
and consistency in supporting learners.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work collaboratively with trainers, managers, and support teams to embed
inclusive practice.
- Share best practice, case studies, and resources across the organisation.
- Represent the learning support team in meetings and working groups.
About You
- Ongoing CPD in learning difficulties, assistive technology, and inclusive practice.
- Passionate advocate for inclusion with a learner-centred approach.
- Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused, with strong organisational skills.
- Collaborative team player, able to build trust and credibility with colleagues.
- Desirable with a view to working towards: - Level 3 SEND or equivalent
