Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate teacher with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? We’re currently working with a number of welcoming and inclusive provisions in the Gateshead area that are looking for a committed Teacher to join their dedicated team.
In this role, you’ll:
1. Deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students with a variety of learning requirements, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
2. Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs, and families to ensure a consistent and caring approach.
3. Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels encouraged and supported.
4. Track and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Previous experience working with SEN pupils in a school setting
3. Strong understanding of differentiated learning and EHCPs
4. A patient, creative, and resilient approach to teaching

To be considered for the top of the pay bracket, applicants must have extensive experience in planning and teaching pupils with SEN and be currently on at least the M5 pay scale or higher.
