As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and talented Breakfast Chef to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our guests expect. Role Overview The Breakfast Chef plays a vital role in the daily success of the Forest Lodge Hotel by preparing and presenting delicious breakfast dishes that delight our guests. You will be a key member of our kitchen team, ensuring every plate served is of the highest quality, reflecting both skill and passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast items to the highest standards, including traditional British breakfast, continental options, and bespoke dishes. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations and company hygiene standards. Assist with stock control and ordering of breakfast ingredients to minimise waste and maximise freshness. Collaborate closely with the Kitchen Manager and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and a welcoming guest experience. Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal breakfast offerings. Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a chef, preferably with a focus on breakfast or similar catering & hospitality roles. Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certifications preferred. Strong culinary skills with attention to detail and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required. A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences through food.
