Leader Education are recruiting a General Secondary Teacher to work within an alternative provision based in South Tyneside.
This role involves working with pupils who cannot access mainstream education due to their Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and behavioural needs, therefore resilience and dedication is key.
This role focuses on empowering pupils to become confident, capable learners while providing tailored support to meet their diverse needs and challenging behaviour.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30-16:30.

The successful candidate will have:
* A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Subject and curriculum knowledge to accurately plan and deliver well-structured lessons
* An understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with pupils, parents, and all members of staff
* Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
