BMS Commissioning Manager - London - to £480 a day\n\nAs a Commissioning BMS Manager you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex building services systems across high-profile projects. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and documentation of all commissioning activities related to Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage the end-to-end BMS commissioning process across multiple large-scale projects.\nDevelop and implement commissioning strategies, schedules, scopes, and resource plans aligned with project requirements.\nEnsure all BMS systems are commissioned according to contractual and regulatory standards.\nCoordinate commissioning activities with clients, general contractors, and system vendors.\nMonitor and report on commissioning progress, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.\nProduce comprehensive technical reports, test documentation, and validation records.\nProvide expert input on design reviews, technical submittals, method statements, and functional test procedures.\nSupport tender development and provide input into proposal documentation.\nEnsure strict compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.\nActively contribute to continuous improvement of internal systems and processes.\nYour Profile\n\nDegree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering (or equivalent experience).\nMinimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a BMS-focused commissioning or project management role within the building services sector.\nIn-depth knowledge of BMS systems and interfaces (e.g. Siemens, Trend, Honeywell, Schneider, etc.).\nStrong understanding of commissioning procedures, industry regulations, and quality management.\nProfessional membership in CIBSE, ASHRAE, or equivalent is an advantage.\nConfident communicator with excellent coordination, leadership, and client-facing skills.\nHighly organised, self-driven, and solution-oriented with a strong attention to detail.\nProficient in MS Office and commissioning software tools.\nFlexibility to travel and work on-site as required.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be willing to travel to site-based locations as reasonably based on our needs\nMust be an experienced engineer, either a licensed PE or a field technician with excellent understanding of MEP systems, HVAC controls, the T&B process, etc\nMust have good computer skills and effective typing skills\nUnderstanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nBe familiar with the organization of design documents, the preparation of the multidiscipline designs, and the delivery of the design & construction services\nStrong knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering, operations fundamentals, contracting, and general business operations\nUnderstanding of project accounting and financial management tools\nAbility to prioritize and organize work; ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our copmpany is a must
