Were hiring High Voltage SAPs to support HV/LV electrical engineering projects, including substation builds, network upgrades, and planned outages.
Plan and execute HV switching schedules using PowerOn and other DNO tools Isolate and earth high voltage apparatus safely Issue Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitations of Access Develop and implement safety documentation and method statements Attend client meetings and resolve operational issues Mentor junior engineers and support project planning Ensure compliance with UKPN safety standards, M Group policies, and HSE legislation What Youll Bring SAP authorisation at 11kV, 33kV, or 132kV on a UK DNO network (e.g., UKPN, SSE, SPEN, ENWL) Experience in substation construction, HV commissioning, or network maintenance Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, safety regulations, and outage planning HNC / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Full UK driving licence travel required across East Anglia and surrounding counties and regular attendance at our Stevenage office Whats in it for you?
