Job Title: MIG Fabricator
Location: Tamworth
Pay Rate: GBP15.00 GBP18.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Day shifts (overtime available)
Job Description:
Our client, a well-established engineering company in Tamworth, is looking for an experienced MIG Fabricator to join their growing team. They undertake a wide variety of fabrication work across different industries, giving candidates the opportunity to work on diverse and interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* MIG welding and fabrication of components to drawings and specifications
* Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
* Fabricating parts across a range of thicknesses from 1mm 25mm
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Using fabrication equipment, hand tools, and workshop machinery
* Quality checking completed work to ensure high standards are met
* Supporting a wide range of fabrication projects as required
Requirements:
* Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Flexibility to work overtime when required
* TIG welding skills would be a strong advantage
