Hays Senior Finance are pleased to be working with an excellent business in the Kidderminster area as they look to recruit a new Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading European manufacturer and, with amitment to innovation, they deliver high-performance solutions to global partners.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director, this is a pivotal role in their UK finance team where you will be responsible for managing daily operations, driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
1. Production of monthly financial accounts pack including P&L and balance sheet
2. Preparation of year-end accounts in line with FRS 102
3. Preparation of annual budgets and 5-year plan
4. Monthly cashflow forecasting
5. Assist in treasury management including foreign accounts
6. Develop knowledge of current ERP/finance systems
7. Improvement of processes
8. Management of a small finance team (4 staff)
What you'll need to succeed
9. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred) - audit/practice background highly advantageous
10. Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of financial regulations/reporting standards
11. Excellent analytical, leadership andmunication skills
12. Focus on business performance and continuous improvement
13. Excellentputer skills with the ability to develop systems and processes
