About the Role
Active School Organisation is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Lead Gymnastics Coaches (18+) to deliver after-school enrichment clubs across primary schools in [Area/Region].
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport and child development, with or without prior coaching qualifications – full training is provided.
Schedule (Term Time Only)
* Clubs run Monday to Friday, approx. 3.00–4.30pm (1 hour sessions).
* Each Lead Coach is typically assigned 5 clubs per week.
* Pay: £30 per session (~£150 per week).
Key Duties
* Lead safe, engaging gymnastics sessions for children in KS1 & KS2.
* Teach core skills such as balance, flexibility, and tumbling.
* Encourage children's confidence, participation, and progression.
* Complete registers and uphold safeguarding standards.
* Represent Active School positively within schools.
Requirements
* Must be 18+ with a full driving licence (travel between schools required).
* Experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
* DBS, First Aid, Safeguarding desirable (training arranged if needed).
* Level 2 coaching certificate desirable (not essential – training pathway available).
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and confident working with groups of children.
