In-House Commercial Legal Counsel Cheshire-based technology business seeks a commercial solicitor to join their respected in-house legal team. The company operates within the technology sector, although technical knowledge and industry speak is not required - this job is all about commercial contracts, and your attitude to client advice and risk is going to be all important. The Role: You'll be advising on a broad range of commercial contracts including software licensing, SaaS agreements, cloud hosting arrangements, support contracts, and supplier agreements. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders on bid management, contract negotiation, risk assessment, and providing pragmatic commercial advice. The legal team is valued and embedded as a core function with good visibility across the business. The sales teams work closely with Legal and have a good working relationship. This is a demanding business and the team works hard together, relying on each other to deliver. What They're Looking For: 2-4 years' PQE Strong commercial contracts background Ability to draft and negotiate clearly and confidently Commercial acumen and risk analysis skills Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to legal advice Experience with technology contracts, public sector work, or procurement would be advantageous but not essential.
