This post offers an opportunity for a Part Time Registered Dental Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team and support the specialty in providing high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Dental Nurse interested in developing our service. Applications are welcome for this Band 4 role from those with experience in Dental Nursing and/or Orthodontics.
We also consider newly qualified Dental Nurses with relevant experience. We seek a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help deliver outstanding treatment and care.
This is a great opportunity to develop and expand your skills as a dental nurse.
You will assist in Orthodontics, Restorative, and specialized clinics such as Orthognathic, as well as Oral Surgery clinics, day surgery theatre lists, and minor oral surgery operations.
The candidate must hold and maintain registration with The General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Care Professional and demonstrate ongoing professional development through CPD.
Main duties of the job:
* Provide high-quality dental nursing care throughout the department, including care for patients with special needs, vulnerable children and adults, the elderly, and patients with complex medical or behavioral challenges.
* Deliver chairside assistance across various dental specialties, supporting all clinicians, while maintaining infection control standards.
* Be adaptable and flexible to work across Trust sites as needed.
