We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced tutor to support Looked After Children (LAC) in the Stockton area. This is a highly rewarding role focused on making a meaningful difference in the educational journey of vulnerable young people. Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition to LAC students, typically in English, Maths, or Science Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets Build positive relationships to support emotional and academic development Liaise with carers, schools, and virtual school teams to ensure coordinated support Maintain accurate session reports and progress records Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or proven tutoring experience Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Experience working with children with additional needs or from vulnerable backgrounds Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to travel across Stockton and nearby areas Benefits: Flexible working hours Ongoing training and support The opportunity to make a genuine impact How to Apply: Please send your CV All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
