About The Role:
The company is seeking a highly motivated individual eager to build a rewarding career within their family-run business as they continue to grow rapidly. The role requires someone who can work full-time at their head office in West Molesey, Surrey.
Your role will be supporting the Account Managers in the busy sales team who work closely with clients (homeowners, developers, architects, and interior designers) to provide estimates.
This position offers an exceptional opportunity for growth and development, with the potential to advance to an Account Manager role in the future.
Experience in the door, furniture, ironmongery, carpentry, or design industries is preferred but not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Review and interpret customer requirements for bespoke door projects, such as floor plans and door schedules.
* Email quotations to the account manager, including detailed information about the included items.
* Inspect tender documents and identify supply options.
* Use the in-house CRM system (FileMaker) to generate accurate and competitive quotations.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to gather cost information.
* Ensure timely preparation and delivery of quotations.
* Work with the Financial Controller or Sales Director to verify pricing before finalizing quotes.
Administration:
* Review customer requirements and tender documents.
* Generate quotations using the CRM system.
* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for cost data.
* Meet deadlines for quotation submissions.
* Assist in pricing verification with management.
Key Skills Required:
* Industry experience preferred for understanding technical drawings and documentation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365.
* Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to learn and develop skills.
* Analytical mindset.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Reliable transportation is required.
