Job Title: Senior Risk Data Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong IT Risk experience to support the consolidation, analysis, and presentation of complex risk data sets. This role is critical in driving visibility, improving documentation quality, and enabling informed decision-making during a post-acquisition integration phase.
Responsibilities
1. Consolidate and normalise data sourced from multiple systems, teams, and processes related to open issues, risk findings, vulnerabilities, application control processes, risk acceptances, and remediation documentation.
2. Clear backlog of documentation, including items with tight SLA windows (7–45 days).
3. Build accurate dashboards and reporting outputs using Tableau to show risk demand over time, status of open/overdue items, controls coverage & gap analysis, and related exposure and progress toward remediation.
4. Assist in defining what a consolidated, end state view of risk artefacts and reporting should look like.
5. Develop automated solutions where possible using macros, workflows, and templates.
6. Integrate and reconcile inputs from disparate systems and data owners.
7. Work closely with IT Risk, application teams, and control owners to validate risk acceptance documentation, track remediation items, and ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely updates.
8. Support migration of processes into standard tooling and IT risk frameworks.
Essential Skills
9. Strong experience in IT Risk or closely related technology control functions.
10. Proven ability to analyse, interpret, and structure large, complex data sets.
11. Proficiency with Tableau and Excel (advanced, including macros) and data sourcing/integration across multiple teams.
12. Strong conceptual thinker with excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
13. Self-starter capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
14. Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
15. experience using GenAI for data handling, summarisation, documentation, or automation.
