Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN / ALN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs in one of our partner schools in the [AREA] area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is dedicated to helping every child achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role:
* Work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Additional Learning Needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum and reach their individual goals.
* Implement and follow individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting emotional well-being, independence, and confidence.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to deliver consistent and effective support.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN / ALN.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Understanding of behaviour management strategies and how to support children with additional needs.
* A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Relevant qualifications in Education, SEN, or Childcare are desirable but not essential.
