Role Overview\n \nTechnical Asset Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, lifecycle management, and operational performance of physical assets across the assigned portfolio. This includes ensuring asset data integrity, optimizing asset performance, and supporting compliance with statutory and client-specific maintenance requirements. The role plays a critical part in driving data-led decision-making and continuous improvement in asset management practices.
\n \nWhile the role reports to Account EMEA Technical Services Lead(s), the role is structured toto collaborate with Facilities Managers across multiple countries in EMEA region on the Account on a day-to-day basis for data gathering, carry out technical analysis and manage periodic technical reporting to EMEA Technical Services Lead(s).\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain a comprehensive asset register aligned with CBRE IFM Data Standards and client expectations.\nLead asset lifecycle planning, including condition assessments, criticality and energy analysis, and replacement forecasting.\nOversee the implementation and use of asset data collection tools (e.g., ADCA) and ensure data quality and completeness\nCollaborate with site teams to ensure all maintainable assets are captured and maintained in the CMMS\nSupport the integration of asset data into maintenance planning, capital budgeting, and performance reporting.\nCoordinate with engineering, compliance, and finance teams to align asset strategies with operational and financial goals.\nProvide technical guidance and training to site teams on asset tagging, data collection, and CMMS usage.\nParticipate in audits and ensure compliance with internal and external asset management standards.\nQualifications & Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (NVQ Level 6 or similar), or equivalent experience with building services engineering operation and maintenance application.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in building services engineering asset management, technical services, and facilities operations having a strong engineering bias.\nGood understanding of legislative compliance requirements\nExcellent understanding of technical services (HVAC, BMS, Electrical, life safety systems, building structure, fabric/façade, lighting systems etc.)\nPrevious experience in a corporate facilities management environment is desirable.\nStrong understanding of CMMS/CAFM systems; Understanding of asset data standards is desirable(e.g., SFG20, ISO 55000).\nExperience with mobile data collection tools and structured asset hierarchies.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory; Power BI and/or other data visualization tools is a plus.\nDesirable Attributes\n\nInquisitive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.\nAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams across a diverse range of geographic locations within EMEA region.\nFamiliarity with regulatory compliance in building services and maintenance
