Due to continued growth driven by strong client relationships and recent client wins, DAC Beachcroft’s Casualty Injury team is on the lookout for talented Paralegals. Our team focuses on employers’ liability and public liability claims, with claims valued up to £100k. Join us to develop your technical expertise in EL/PL personal injury claims, learn the litigation process, enhance your time‑management skills, and build valuable legal connections.
What you will do
* Ensure claims are progressed proactively and efficiently to conclusion.
* Embrace the training and support provided to new starters, assisting in legal development, the litigation process, and holding litigated claims.
* With support where needed, devise clear case strategies that balance the commercial interests of both the firm and the client.
* Ensure work meets client needs, the firm’s commercial requirements, and quality standards.
* Collaborate with other teams, building your internal network of contacts.
* Apply current technical expertise and case law to each claim while maintaining and developing technical knowledge through training and reading relevant publications.
* Engage with clients and support business‑development plans to maximise opportunities, acting as an ambassador of the firm.
Who you are
* Paralegals with 0–1+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally with EL/PL experience; candidates with alternative backgrounds such as claimant, motor, disease, pre‑litigated defendant work, clinical negligence, profin etc. are considered.
* Good organisational skills, able to work to deadlines, prioritise workload, meet conflicting demands, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
* Capable of producing high‑standard work, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality of service.
* Enthusiastic about joining a well‑established Casualty Injury team and building a future with DAC Beachcroft.
