To support the Events Manager in delivering and developing all aspects of the event and functions operations at Hoebridge, the Events Supervisor will:
* Supervise a team of events and functions professionals, motivating and leading them to deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer needs.
* Safeguard the long-term success of Burhill Golf Ltd by guiding all elements of the events and functions area to the highest standards, ensuring Hoebridge Golf Centre is recognized as a premier family-centric golf and leisure destination.
Measurement of success: The Events Supervisor will be evaluated based on operating profit (from F&B, events, functions), staff engagement, customer loyalty (NPS), audit results, and reviews from Food and Beverage Manager, Events Manager, General Manager, along with operational feedback and personal objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations: Oversee all events and functions, ensuring delivery of consistent, high-quality service; review bookings; oversee daily clubhouse operations; maintain positive relationships with members and guests; conduct property tours; manage orders and service standards; ensure sanitation and safety procedures are followed; support sales and marketing efforts; and assist as a duty manager when needed.
2. People: Manage team performance, conduct recruitment and inductions, ensure team development, and maintain effective communication. Take responsibility for staff welfare and legal compliance.
3. Financial: Assist in controlling labour costs, monitor purchasing policies, and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.
4. Marketing: Promote functions, events, and promotions to maximize sales.
5. Customer Experience: Ensure outstanding service during all functions and events to maximize customer satisfaction.
