The school is seeking an experienced and committed SENCO to lead SEND provision and drive inclusive practice. Role Overview The SENCO will oversee the strategic and operational management of SEND provision. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing SEND provision across the school Developing and reviewing EHCPs and support plans Liaising with parents and external agencies Monitoring student progress and intervention impact Training staff on inclusive teaching strategies Managing a team of teaching assistants Ensuring statutory compliance Overseeing access arrangements for exams Supporting safeguarding processes Contributing to whole-school improvement plans The role requires leadership capability, strong organisation, and detailed knowledge of SEND legislation.
