As a Security K9 Handler at ZAM FM, you will be responsible for utilising highly trained dogs to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises. Your primary duties will include:
* Conducting regular patrols with your assigned K9.
* Monitoring and inspecting premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
* Responding promptly to alarms and investigating disturbances.
* Conducting searches for illegal substances, explosives, and other prohibited items.
* Providing a visible and effective deterrent against unauthorized activities.
* Ensuring the health, well-being, and training of your assigned K9.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a K9 Handler in a security or law enforcement environment.
* Relevant certifications in K9 handling and training.
* Excellent understanding of security protocols and procedures.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
