Age UK is recruiting for a Shop Supervisor to join their fantastic team in Leigh.

We are recruiting for a Shop Supervisor to deliver an excellent retail service, ensuring that every customer has a great shopping experience and helping to maximise shop sales and profits.
Responsibilities
* Support sales, including stock rotation, organising displays, and store tidying.
* Represent Age UK in a professional manner and reflect the charity’s core values.
* Deputise for the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager in their absence.
* Handle and lift bags of stock up to 10 kg.
* Work 14 hours across a 7‑day week, including Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Experience with cash handling.
* Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10 kg.
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently when needed.
* Sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, and a commitment to equal opportunities.
* Flexible approach to work, with the ability to cover additional days for holidays, sickness or shop events.
