Anns Home Care is recruiting a full-time, as and when Team Leader to join our busy Home Care Team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the provision of high-quality care to clients in their own homes, monitoring care quality, and ensuring excellent service delivery. Flexibility to work unsociable hours may be required.

Key Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
2. NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
3. Access to a car and full driving license
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
7. Empathy and understanding towards clients and their families
8. Leadership, support, and supervision skills for team management
Key Tasks and Duties
1. Maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and presentation by example
2. Participate in and supervise care delivery to meet clients' physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs, respecting dignity, choice, and independence
3. Promote best practices and accountability through spot checks and staff supervisions
4. Monitor the quality of care provided to clients
5. Prepare, implement, review, and update client care plans
6. Maintain confidentiality at all times
7. Uphold professional standards among carers and promote company values
8. Keep accurate and confidential records as per company policy
9. Conduct risk assessments in clients' homes periodically
10. Assist in implementing new care packages, ensuring timely placement and staff introductions
11. Support induction and training of new care workers
12. Provide reports on complaints, accidents, and incidents
13. Assist in rota management and scheduling
14. Participate in the company's Quality Control program
15. Perform shift coverage activities as needed
