This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). About the Role: You will be working closely with teaching staff and the SEND department to provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs. This may include working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups, both in and out of the classroom, to help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities: Support students with SEND, including those with EHCPs. Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities. Help manage behaviour in and out of class. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to relevant staff. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a secondary school setting. Strong understanding of SEND and how to support pupils with additional needs. A calm, patient, and resilient approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one). Why Join This School?
